At All Saints' we ran a holiday club called "Ground Breakers" at the end of the Summer Holidays. It was a holiday club for Primary school age (KS1 and KS2) children designed around the theme of building to encourage children to learn more about Jesus and to grow in their faith.

Ground Breakers Team

Our hall was turned into a building site with concrete mixers, hard hats and shovels with leaders all in yellow "Ground Breakers" T shirts. The Lord even provided real live road menders in the Broadway to set the scene!!

Simon and The Professor

Led by Simon Shutt (of F.A.C.T.) with a team of helpers from our church, there was lots of fun, new songs to sing, buildings to construct, stories about Nehemiah, Elijah and Jesus and videos. Puppets Dustbin Dan and The Professor helped us to discover a little more about Jesus. About fifty children came along and had a wonderful time, as you will be able to see from the pictures.
